Trainer: Chantal Didricksen Chantal has a long history with horses and dressage. She was born and raised in San Diego where she began riding dressage at age 13. She competed in the CDS Junior Championships at 14, and later qualified and competed for the Del Mar National, CDI in 2006 and 2007, a national-level dressage show in San Diego. Chantal continued her training as a dressage rider under the careful eye of Bettina Loy of Del Mar Dressage for several years until she moved to Santa Cruz in 2008 to begin her college career at UCSC, as well as continue her dream of being a horse trainer. Her training techniques enable the rider to influence the horse in a positive way, encouraging looseness and relaxation, a balanced rider as well as a balanced horse. She has the patience and motivation to work with all riders, young or old, novice or experienced, and welcomes new students to her training program.
